Thursday, April 11 @ 6:30pm – VFW Post #3195 – 5209 Grand Haven Road, Norton Shores, MI

The highly contagious lethal virus devastated communities.  It killed over 50 million people worldwide.  Learn about how the epidemic affected the Tri-Cities and how the area responded to it.

Kevin Geary has been Curator of Education at the Tri-Cities Historical Museum in Grand Haven since October 2012.  Throughout his career, Kevin has worked for a variety of museums for a total of 12 years and has 18 years of classroom teaching experience.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in History from Aquinas College as well as a master’s degree in history from Marquette University and a master’s degree in Historical Administration from Eastern Illinois University.

The images below are NOT from the area, but are pictures from around the world of the epidemic.  They are certainly images that would have been seen around the world and in the U.S.
